Dry Jan @ FWB

£35.00
sold out

Friday 19th January
Salt The Radish, Finsbury Park

Whether you’re committing to the full 31 days of no drinking, looking to have a ‘damp’ Jan after a rather wet December, or sober is just your thing these days, this is your opportunity to hang out at the Feminist Wine Bar and taste some rather excellent non-alc bottles!

Non-alcoholic wines have got a bad press over the years, often tasting more like sweet grape juice than wine, but we’ve found some beautiful bottles from MURI that are crafted with love by experts using techniques and ingredients that make fantastic drinks to savour and enjoy.

We’ll be running through our usual tasting format - tasting wines of different styles. Our tastings are aways designed to be super accessible - no complicated wine chat… we’ll give you a bit of info on each bottle, a guide to what you might taste, and then encourage you to explore for yourself and see what you enjoy personally about them!

We’ll be serving the room as a group for this event, aiming to start the tasting at around 7:30pm, but the bar will be open from 6:30pm should you fancy popping down for something from our non-alcoholic cocktail menu to kick off your night!

Tables are mostly communal, and solo-sippers very welcome! If you’d like a private table, we have one or two spots we can offer you, please drop as an email after booking (feministwinebar@gmail.com).

We’ll also have our usual snacks menu on offer if you’d like a nibble with your drinks (see below).

We have a few options for food, whether you’re just looking for a snack, or to make more of a meal of it! It’s hugely helpful if you can book your food in advance to help us ensure we have enough food on the night, and to reduce food wastage.
